Take notes in the lecture the way you already do. Highlight a line and it becomes a card, with the note and the slide it came from attached.
Select the sentence, pick the card type, done. The card keeps a link back to the note, and the note keeps a link to the slide.
Each note is filed under the lecture it was taken in, so the note, the slides and the cards for one lecture are one screen apart.
