Terms and classes

Decks live in classes. Classes live in terms.

A deck belongs to a class, and a class belongs to a term. When the term ends you archive the class, and last semester stops showing up in this one.

Nothing stuck on last semester

Archive a class and its decks, notes and slides step out of the way. They are still there. They are just not in your Monday.

The whole app follows the class

Library, calendar, tutor and search all scope to the class you are looking at. Renal physiology does not leak into pharmacology.

Terms keep the history honest

Every term keeps its own stats, so you can look back at how the fall went without it polluting the spring.

FAQ

Questions about terms and classes

Straight answers.

How do I organise flashcards by class in Lovelydeck?

Create a term, add your classes to it, and make decks inside each class. Slides, notes, the calendar and the tutor all follow the class you are in.

What happens to old decks when the semester ends?

Archive the class. Its decks, notes and slides stay in your account and stay searchable, but they leave the home screen and the calendar until you reopen them.

Can I move a deck to another class?

Yes. A deck can be moved between classes, and between terms, without losing its cards or their review history.
